How to score Triple Yahtzee
Triple Yahtzee plays just like regular Yahtzee: roll five dice up to three times a turn, then score one box. The difference is that every player fills three score columns instead of one, so the game lasts 39 turns.
- On each turn, write your score in any empty box in any of your three columns.
- Each column is scored like a normal Yahtzee card: upper section, 35-point bonus at 63, lower section and Yahtzee bonuses.
- At the end, multiply column 1 by 1, column 2 by 2 and column 3 by 3.
- Add the three results. Highest grand total wins.
Example: Columns totaling 180, 210 and 240 score 180 × 1 + 210 × 2 + 240 × 3 = 180 + 420 + 720 = 1,320.
Triple Yahtzee strategy
- Put big rolls in the ×3 column. A large straight is worth 40 there but 120 in the ×3 column.
- Use the ×1 column for scratches. A zero costs the least where nothing gets multiplied.
- Watch three upper bonuses. A 35-point bonus in the ×3 column is really worth 105.
- Don't fill one column too early. Keeping open boxes in all three columns gives you more choices for each roll.

Usually in the ×3 column, since every point there counts triple. Save the ×1 column for scratches and weak rolls.
